Thailand is a very special country. I have always said that Thailand was the one place I wanted to go before I died and was blessed to be able make this dream come true. I was very intrigued by their culture, religion and of course their food (I am a declared foodie!). Thailand was the first country I have been in Asia and because of the cultural differences with the west everything was amazing to me. One thing after an other left me in speechless, so beautiful and diverse. South of Thailand completely different from the north, lots to see and do. But throughout the country what caught my attention the most was the kindness of the Thai people, I was very appreciative and thankful of it. Map of Thailand
Officially the Kingdom of Thailand, formerly known as Siam, is a country at the center of the Indochinese peninsula in Southeast Asia. Population around 66 million and the capital and largest city is Bangkok. Official language is Thai, also known as Siamese or Central Thai, native language of the Thai people and the vast majority of Thai Chinese.
