England

I have traveled to England, never been to Ireland nor Scotland but my impression of British people was very similar to when I travelled to Australia, very polite, well mannered and hospitable. I had a great time and enjoyed every minute of it. London is spectacular, a melting pot with so many different cultures coming together.  A lot to do, lots of history as well as many hip places to visit and party.  When I think of England and its huge contribution to the world I think of  Sheakspeare, musicians/bands such as The Beattles, Rolling Stones, Freddie Mercury, Elton John and so many more.  What about pubs, fish and chips, strawberries and tea time!  For sure you will have a blast.

The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, commonly known as the United Kingdom or Britain, is located off the north-western coast of the European mainland, it includes the island of Great Britain (England and Scottland), the north-eastern part of the island of Ireland, and many smaller islands. Northern Ireland is the only part of the UK that shares a land border with another sovereign state—the Republic of Ireland. Apart from this land border, the UK is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, with the North Sea to its east, the English Channel to its south and the Celtic Sea to its south-south-west. The Irish Sea lies between Great Britain and Ireland. The UK has a population of around 65 million people. The official language is English. Map of United Kingdom
