It was formally called Curaçao and Dependencies. The Country of Curaçao includes the main island of Curaçao and the uninhabited island of Klein Curaçao. The official language is Dutch although Papiamentu is the most common. Should point out that most native speakers will use Dutch, English and Papiamentu while Spanish is also spoken by most Curacaons, and English is widely used.
